My Students

What better way to inspire a student then through a book. Our school serves all children of all abilities together in an inclusive setting. Our library is not only available during class time but it is also open at lunch and recess and provides a wonderful place for students with a large range of abilities to come together and participate in a free choice activity for everyone. Our library needs a wide variety of resources for our great variety of students.

My Project

My students love to read. They are lucky to have a school library, but it needs to stay stocked with books that motivate them to read. The books in this project will inspire and motivate even the most reluctant readers. I'm requesting a variety of high interest book series including Babymouse, Lunch Lady, MInecraft, The Princess in Black, Witch & Wizard, Witch Buster, and Comics Squad.

We recently received a donation of five computers for the students to be able to use in the library, but now we need to set up a station for them.

The stools from this project will enable us to set up a station for friends to share an audio book as well as search the library catalog and learn important research skills.
