Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My fifth grade students will have a strong curriculum and experienced and knowledgeable teacher, however, their classroom could use support to foster their love of learning.
The current classroom does not have a completed arrangement of furniture and classroom decor because I have moved schools.
I hope to get materials that will brighten the classroom and enhance the learning experience and truly make students want to come to school. I want students to feel comfortable and have a learning space to collaborate and learn how to manage their social emotional needs. Specifically, I would like furniture for their cozy corner, an age appropriate rug, and their small group instruction.
