My Project

What I love about my students with Autism, is that they are a unique group of kids who love to read and keep up with the latest books.

My goal is to give them an opportunity to want to read a variety of different genres and build confidence with their love for reading.

Giving my kids the opportunity to build on different comprehension skills that other kids may find easy, gives my students the interest to want to read more. Finally, giving them options will help give them choices of books such as Dog Man, Little Spot Takes Action and Diary of a Wimpy Kid for them to read and have conversations with their peers, which will help them in the long run develop social skills.
