Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These games will be used in a 3rd-grade room, 3rd/4th combo, and 4th-grade room! All of the students at this school are English language learners or bilingual. As these students are getting into the older elementary grades, they have less access to multimodal and engaging materials to keep them interested.
These games will provide an opportunity for these older students to have fun while learning the syntax and structure of the English language.
These games will be used for intervention groups to target specific knowledge gaps. It also provides materials for new teachers who do not have the financial means to purchase the games on their own.
