This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are fifth graders in an inclusion class that come from a poor section of New York City in the Bronx. They almost all receive free or reduced price lunch. No matter the hardships they face at home, they come to school ready and eager to learn each day.

These students try very hard but need extra support in learning.

By donating, you are helping them become better and more confident learners.

We now live in a world of technology. Students all over the world are using technology as much as possible. My students are no different. They are motivated by technology, and need a new classroom laptop to assist them in learning. The laptop will aid them in understanding the materials being taught. It will allow us to present slideshows of the lessons and allow students to present their projects that they have done online.
