My Students

I am fortunate, I get to do something I love every day, teach kindergarten. These young children come into school, into my classroom, from different backgrounds and levels of home support. Our classroom family includes refugees and many English language learners. I have some amazing students that deserve nothing less than the best educational experiences.

My students and I are grateful to be experiencing kindergarten together.

I am honored to give these students an introduction to their school career, especially because most of them have not stepped into a classroom before kindergarten. Every day is a new adventure in our classroom.

My Project

My students read and get read to every day in my classroom. I'm continuing to build my classroom library with both interesting read-aloud picture books and books that children can independently read. These books are going to be a wonderful addition to my library and to the learning adventures of my students.

Having high-interest books will boost the motivation of my young readers.

This means that I will need a variety of options for students to choose from. Having this library of books will ensure that my students are excited about reading every day. My students are going to love having new books to choose from.
