My students are amazing kids who face many challenges both at home and at school. My students all have various disabilities, but they don't let their disabilities hold them back.
All of my students are unique, but one thing is the same in each of them: they love to learn!
My students come from a variety of backgrounds and face many challenges before even entering our school. We work together every day to overcome those challenges and reach new heights. I work with about 100 special education students every week, reaching kids with various disabilities. My students love to move, explore and play.
My Project
My students need warm winter boots to keep them warm through the long Michigan winters. Snow came at the beginning of November and is going to just keep coming. My kids love the snow and love to play and roll and build things in it- but only when they can remain warm while playing.
For some families, snow boots are just too much to purchase, especially when each paycheck is already stretched thin in order to provide housing, heat, food and transportation for their families.
With your help, my neediest students will have warm snow boots to wear, keeping their toes warm and dry on their walks to school and during recess.
