My Students
Many of the students in my classroom do not have access at home to the Internet, a printer, or even a computer. I would like to provide them with the opportunity to complete assignments and other projects on the computer and use a great printer to save and document their assignments or projects.
My students are a lively and energetic bunch that love to work on the computer and use the Internet every chance they get.
However, I do not have a printer to allow them to do so. Not only has MO, but our district, suffered major budget cuts over the last year. This is keeping the district from providing the classrooms with extras such as printers. We do have two building printers which truly aren't enough when providing for 31 full classrooms with grades kindergarten through 6th grade. My students are always eager to learn, but especially when dealing with technology and would love to get their hands on the future by having this printer.
My Project
I feel that a printer is crucial for students to complete assignments and projects on the computer and to have the opportunity to hold their work in their hands. My students' future is going to be based around technology and I would love nothing more than to enhance their knowledge on this. My current students as well as future students deserve the best education possible and this printer is just one step in the right direction.
With this printer my students will be able to bring learning to life.
