My Project

After assessments last year, my students commented that they felt under-dressed compared to the other choral groups. They felt less confident, and they felt that they could not perform their best because everyone was laughing at them. They could not afford to go out and buy a new black polo for the event, and despite their best efforts, finding plain black shirts was almost impossible.

Our school cannot afford amazing uniforms at this time, so I'm turning to DonorsChoose to help fill the gaps!

The power of a crisp, black polo cannot be overstated. A unified look - black shirt, black pants, and black shoes - can make all the difference for an ensemble. These black shirts will be perfect inventory for students who can't afford to obtain their own black polos while we fundraise for new uniforms this school year. They will remain in the chorus inventory to be given to students before major performances (and collected afterward).

Thank you for helping our students! My mission is to give them the best chance at success. A confidence boost is the first of many steps in the right direction!
