This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, I find that the best learning takes place on the carpet. When all the students are up close, they are more focused and less distracted. Our current carpet is too big for the space and over the years has become dirty and difficult to clean.
This requested carpet will allow my students to have personal space while learning.
Everyone learns better when they have their own personal space. Students will be more focused on what is being taught instead of how close their friends are. We will use this carpet for all subjects. This carpet will also add a little extra cushion and make it more comfortable for the students to sit during group lessons. It is smaller than what we currently have and so will be cozier and easier to move and to clean.
