My Students
Let's get learning some similarities and differences in species from the inside out. Taking a closer look at the inside, we might see how similar all living things are. And let's not forget how much we will be learning about ourselves through this collaborative work.
We are a college prep charter secondary school.
My classes range from 7th up to 12th grades in the area of science. The students are excited with a new school location in the central valley of California, but need to have some hands-on learning. Our little charter school is growing along with the students' knowledge of science.
My Project
Biology from the book or the Internet is just not enough to give these very creative and thirsty for knowledge students the experiences they will need to prepared them for college. Giving these students the opportunity to investigate the insides of some different species might lead a few into being that doctor that finds the cure for cancer. Others will become better managers of the planet knowing the similarities in all living things.
The support of this project will broadening the multiple intelligences of our small classes.
Collaborative work is another aspect of dissection exercises. We hope to learn more about ourselves while studying the world of biology.
