My Project
We all know play is important to child development. Sadly, lots of times, playtime is limited in the modern kindergarten classroom. It takes a back seat to more "academic" tasks. What we need to remember, especially in the wake of a pandemic, is that play for children IS learning! With this kitchen set, we hope to foster the imaginations of our 25 kindergartners. With the chance to play cooperatively with their peers in our new kitchen center, our children will be able to practice those ever-important social and cooperative skills!
