My Students
My class consists of approximately 20% girls and 80% boys. They are mostly from Hispanic and Black ethnic groups and lower-income communities. There is a zeal for learning despite the circumstances that they are faced with. Some have emotional, social, and/or academic circumstances that are limiting. The ESL and students with special academic needs receive services in order to assist them in the learning process.
These students need to be prepared to compete in an ever-changing world that is technology-driven and requires individuals who can represent any organization with dignity.
They want to be successful and are challenged to be successful.
My Project
My students are poised for success, not only in class but as successful leaders in their class, their school, and the community. Not only do I have smart, intelligent students, but their parents are supportive of their learning.
This project of a 70 inch television will allow my students to gain important insights on the topics we are studying through watching videos and interactive lessons.
They will also be able to have an interesting and attention grabbing method of exploring the standards we are learning in class. I can only imagine the depth of knowledge my students will gain having a 70 inch television to view lessons clearer.
