Look Out 5th Grade, Here We Come!

Help me give my students materials to have a welcoming new classroom such as bulletin board border, fabric to cover the boards, under the sea theme decorations and window decorations.

My Project

I've had many positions at my school over the past 14 years (first grade, third grade, fourth grade, Math Coach and CRT), I'm most excited about my new position for next year, 5th grade teacher! I'm moving up from fourth to fifth and want to make our new classroom warm, welcoming and FUN! This project will provide everything my partner teacher and I need to create an inviting classroom for our amazing group of fifth graders! I teach at a Title-1 school located in Central Florida, 98% of students at my school are eligible for free or reduced-price lunches. Next year, my partner teacher and I will teach all subjects to our fifth graders.

These materials will allow us to create a welcoming and safe atmosphere for our students to be proud of and excited to learn.

Our theme is "under the sea" included in this project are various fabrics to cover our bulletin boards as well as adorable borders and fish die cuts. The project will also provide us with motivational quote posters, double sided tape to hang them and a magnetic curtain rod we will use on the dry erase board to display anchor charts.
