"You're off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so...get on your way! Dr. Seuss
This quote is important because I let my students know don't limit themselves to what they see around them, be adventurous and challenge yourself to do the impossible.
The world awaits to see what you can accomplish, as long as your try and don't give up. Seek out your mountain and don't be afraid to reach the top. My students are special because of their willingness to try even if it's sometime they might see as challenge. They will always try to please me by doing their best.
My Project
Building a bridge for the love of reading is hard thing to accomplish in today's society especially in this digital age our students are accustomed to. All of the information they obtain are accessed through tablets. Where are the books?
I loved reading as a child, and I still do as adult.
I want to share that same love with my students. Every child should be able to create their own library at home. There's nothing like reading from book, especially when it came from your own library in your room. These books will facilitate my goal of increasing my students reading and possibly their love for books instead of tablets.
