My Project
My classroom is very diverse and our books and art supplies rarely represent the students that I teach. By giving students the ability to make their art and classwork look like them we are showing them how much they matter.
Also, by share different cultures and learning about the differences in people, we help increase understanding.
This can help students with patience, tolerance and acceptance. These are key skills that can be a challenge to teach.
My hope is that with these tools my students will be more invested in their learning and their future.
