Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our basketball players embody the 3 characteristic of our program which is Integrity, Passion and Humility. The majority of our players don't come from a traditional basketball background setting, so their hard work and dedication they have put forth is amazing! They have sacrificed so much to become successful student athletes this season so I believe these guys deserve a little reward.

Our character is defined when we face adversity.

I am so proud of our players for stepping up and wanting to make a change in their community through sports. It shows how humble, mature and ambitious our group is. They are actively involved in their community and always striving to be high character people first. The core group of the players have displayed great leadership skills and I know great things will come from this group.

My Project

Creating culture has been a big thing for our program this year. What other way to create some culture then by having our full team decked out in team gear. We want people to notice us when walking around. We want to feel like a united front when traveling school to school.

Players will be able to show their school pride by wearing the same stuff around the school and community so people can know who we are.

I am a big believer in, when you look good; you play good. We want to make sure we are setting that tone of creating a special culture and creating a tradition that lives on forever!
