Many of the students in my class come from low income families. As a teacher located in a rural area, oftentimes many families are just getting by. However, the community surrounding our school is simply beautiful. Despite many having so very little, they are generous in their support of the school and are involved in the education in which their children are receiving. The parents of my students know that education is important and sometimes, teachers need more help than what the school system is able to provide.
My students inspire me daily to be the best educator I can possibly be.
They deserve the best learning environment possible. This would entail providing the necessary materials to do so, which in this case would be simply tissues and paper towels! I do not enjoy asking for parents to bring in extra, since many gave all they could already at the beginning of the year. Thank you for your support.
