Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in an urban district. My students come to class eager and ready to learn each day. They work hard and are proud of everything they do in my room.
I want to be able to have a bulletin board to display my student's work to increase their sense of self esteem.
A core component of my class is labs, and my students work hard to complete them. So I want to be able to display them so the students can be proud of their work and "brag" to their friends.
Many students come to my room because they know it's a safe place and being able to display their peers work would emphasize that.
