it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the weather begins to cool, our bilingual students face a challenge that many of us might take for granted—the need for proper clothing to stay warm. Many of our students come from families that struggle to provide basic necessities, and unfortunately, items like long sleeve t-shirts are not always within reach. These students spend long hours at school, and when the weather turns chilly, they often don’t have the proper attire to stay comfortable and focused. This lack of appropriate clothing can impact their well-being and their ability to engage fully in the classroom environment.
To address this pressing need, we are reaching out to the community to request donations of long sleeve t-shirts for our bilingual students.
These shirts will not only provide warmth but also a sense of dignity and inclusion for students who may feel self-conscious about not having the clothing they need. Your generous contribution will help ensure that all of our students have what they need to focus on their studies and feel part of the school community, no matter the weather.
We understand that times can be tough for many, but even a small donation can make a huge difference in the lives of these students.
