Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Social and Emotional learning takes place at our high school library. Students come in the library on their break and at lunch time and they love playing games and doing puzzles. I love that they aren't on their cell phones, instead they are having real time moments.
Real time moments bring students together and they learn to cooperate and work as a team, solving problems or playing games.
Students are engaged in these activities and learn strategic skills as well as puzzling out problems. But the real plus is that social and emotional learning is taking place as students discuss and solve fun problems!
