My Project
Our classroom has the essentials but needs some "special touches" to make it a welcoming space for 7th-grade ELA students. Twinkle lights, a touch of green, anchor posters, and a cute Llama theme will go a long way to turning dingy carpet and brick walls into a welcoming learning space. My students will be new to the school as incoming 7th graders - many from very difficult home situations so it is very important to me that my classroom feels warm, safe, and a place students look forward to visiting. Title One provides classroom essentials, but I need the donor's help to make the room a creative learning environment.
