Living in a World of Color

My students need 12x18 construction paper of 20 varying colors to complete art projects related to our standards-based thematic units.

This project is fully funded

Life is better when lived with color! I am a kindergarten teacher in a district in Alabama whose budget has been drastically reduced for this next school year. My students come from very low demographics, over 90% on free or reduced breakfast and lunch.

Due to budget crunch this year, I will not have the funds to provide basic materials and supplies for my students. In kindergarten, we do lots of crafts and projects to bring in the arts. Being able to create artistic pieces with only white printer paper is the challenge I face today.

With your donations and support, I can provide my students with construction paper to be used for centers, thematic activities, math and reading extensions, and projects depicting our learning in science and social studies.

By donating to my project, you will be bringing color to my students' school experience. I know I would rather stare at a rainbow than a gray sky! Thank you for considering my proposal.
