My Project
One of the highlights of being in 5th grade is participating in the Wax Museum. Prior to the Wax Museum my students have to make a list of people who they would like to research. Some of my 5th grade students find it challenging to choose a person who has made a positive impact on the United States. Having a collection of Who Was books gives students a valuable resource to help them narrow down their choices and access age-appropriate information as they prepare for the Wax Museum project.
The Who Was books offer a wide range of engaging biographies that help students explore different historical figures and make informed, meaningful choices for their Wax Museum projects.
Extra seating in the classroom provides a comfortable, inviting space where students can relax, read, and sample the biographies as they consider who to portray.
