Liven Up Indoor Recess

My Project

My classroom is missing kid-friendly games for students to play during indoor recess. I have been able to get academic based games funded through a project before. I'd love for students to have the opportunity to play games like checkers and Candyland during the recesses where we cannot go outside.

Playing games together will allow for my students to work on their communication skills and sportsmanship in a relaxed environment.

My students this year were really missing the opportunity to play games with each other when we have earned a classroom reward or when the weather was too bad for them to be outside. I know my students this year and in the future would greatly appreciate having more options available to them!
