This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are learning at home online through instructional videos on YouTube and other resources. I post assignments on Google Classroom and they take pictures of their products and turn them in.
Now that I'm more familiar with distance learning tools I want to conduct live stream demonstrations.
This will help create a classroom environment where they can get answers to their questions when they arise. They also can follow along and get guidance on the process.
My Project
Teaching from home has been a challenge. My students have not received the same quality lessons that I teach inside the classroom because I don't have the supplies to conduct live demonstrations. I will use the Webcam, tripod, and lights to live stream demonstrations so they can see how to improve their skills and ask questions along the way.
I want to give my students the same experience that they have in the classroom.
With having this live streaming equipment I'll be able to perform my own demonstrations. Since it will be live the students can ask questions when they arise for better understanding. If they follow along they could ask for guidance during the live stream.
