Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a Title I school where 100% of our students receive free and reduced lunch. My students are part of the Hmong Dual Immersion program. The program aims to give students more confidence, cultural understanding, and strong language foundations in support of producing bilingual. bicultural, and obliterate students.
Our dual immersion program gives students the advantage of learning through two languages, English and Hmong.
The goal for every student in our district is that "every student can and must learn at grade level and beyond." With that we are committed to providing students with a high quality curriculum.
My Project
Although I have some resources to use for our Hmong Dual Immersion Program, I don't have enough. With this printer, I will be able to create and print resources in color for my students to use at home and at school. My students are eager learners who are creative and motivated.
My students are noticeably more engaged in their work when the materials provided for them are visually pleasing.
This printer will provide opportunities to keep my students academically engaged in learning. It will enhance and motivate my students in their journey to learn in the dual immersion pathway.
