My Students
Welcome to my Pre-K classroom! We are a happy group of 3 and 4-year-olds who are eager and happy to learn! Can you hear us singing? Can you hear us playing? We are ready to learn and succeed!
We are an inviting and curious group of children!
Science is our favorite subject because we love animals! We are an attentive group that lives in the Harlem neighborhood of NYC. We are a Title I school, and many of us come from further neighborhoods just to be a part of our fabulous school.
My Project
As a teacher, I pride myself on creating a warm and nurturing environment for my pre-k students. Part of creating that environment is creating a bright and inviting physical space where the students can grow and learn.
The bulletin board board paper will add color to the floor to ceiling bulletin boards that are painted hospital white.
These walls will hold countless pieces of student work throughout the school year. Colored contact paper will be added to the tops of book cases to freshen them up. The tree decal will help create a “family tree” to display pictures of all the families in the classroom. More warmth will be created when the curtain rods are hung with homemade brightly colored curtains.
The craft cabinet will be used by the students to store their various art materials from glue sticks to collage materials. This year, I will be adding a STEM center and the rolling cart will hold materials for the students to create and discover.
