My students need a printer, ink and colored and glossy paper to print materials and resources that will maximize student learning, provide visual aid support, and show off their work!

My Students
There is no such thing as a typical day in Kindergarten. Teaching Kindergarten is organized chaos. As a teacher and having a type A personality, I plan everything to the last minute. But, depending on my students needs those plans always change. Teaching Kindergarten is always exciting!
My Kindergarten class is full of diverse learners.
I have a classroom of high learners and low learners. Many of my students live at or below the poverty line. Although my students come from diverse and despairing backgrounds, they show up each day ready to learn and work hard! It is essential to their education that I reach them all. We are a small school; Kindergarten-8th grade with around 115 students. We take pride in being a small school and trying to keep class sizes smaller.
My Project
A printer is an extremely useful resource. A printer would allow me to create, print, and send home resources for my students such as reading and math for their level. A printer would allow my students to print their work and take it home. Many of the students like to share their work with their parents. Some of the parents even learn English along with their child! The majority of my students do not have home computers or printers so it would allow them to print valuable information for projects and homework. A printer in the classroom would allow me to differentiate instruction and print assignments right away. A color printer especially will help make learning fun! I would be able to print right away different assignments for the students to help them learn rather than waiting until I get home to print. A printer would be a huge help and appreciated greatly!
They would also be able to print off their own work with specific content in color.
I think Kindergarten and color go together like peanut butter and jelly! The students get excited to learn and color also helps visual learners.
