This project is fully funded

"LIVE From NEW YORK" My High School celebrated the graduation of its first senior class last June achieving a 100% graduation rate and a 98% college enrollment rate. This from a school where over 50% of the student body come from low income families with a large percentage of ESL students. These statistics have not deterred the enthusiasm of the teachers and students in putting on the popular Spring Production (this year it was Once upon a Mattress) and a yearly Fashion & Talent Show. These events enrich the lives of over 100 participating students not to mention the pride and school spirit it promotes amongst their fellow classmates, parents and family members. While budgets are always tight, the productions are professional affairs and demonstrate the students' seriousness, talents and dedication to the project. In order to further promote this aspect of the school's curriculum and enhance the learning experience for the students, I am requesting funds to purchase three (3) wireless high quality durable metal construction portable microphones. These devices will not only raise the caliber of the Performing Arts Productions, but will also be used to provide students with professional training in giving speeches, conducting debate forums and participating in award assemblies. Please help ensure our students are equipped to promote and project their voices and their talents by providing the funds for us to purchase these wireless microphones. The lessons and confidence they gain on the stage today will follow them as they step into the next stage - their futures. Donate generously to our project today!
