My Students
Imagine the most eager, excited, and brilliant young people and you will know what my students are like. As a classroom community, my students work together daily to lift one another up so everyone is successful.
Daily, my students bring their best, and together, we build upon the amazing asset of having such a diverse group of learners.
Our school houses our world's future leaders and we take preparing them for the future very seriously. We want to give them the best!
My Project
LEGOs are one of the greatest creativity-spurring tools children can have. They have endless possibilities for not only construction, fun, and collaboration between students but academic applications as well.
Emerging from a pandemic requires careful consideration for the skills students may need including fine motor, teamwork, and options for open-ended creativity.
Students will use the LEGOs on the baseplates for multiple purposes including the learning that grows during play. Mathematics practice with doubles, addition and subtraction, patterns, and multiplication in a hands-on, student-friendly approach. Additionally, as an Aerospace and Engineering school, students will have multiple opportunities to showcase scientific thinking.
A fully-funded project means a return to some form of normalcy and an invitation to grow and learn through play.
