This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students present with a wide range of developmental needs and require intensive early intervention to build the foundational skills necessary for success in 4K classrooms. Each child has an individual and unique learning profile, which requires tailored support to foster growth across developmental domains.

A key focus of my work is to nurture essential play skills and provide structured opportunities for students to explore a variety of games and manipulatives.

These experiences support their cognitive, social, and motor development and prepare them for more formal learning environments.

The addition of targeted items and manipulatives will have a significant impact on my students’ development by supporting the growth of essential skills needed for success in the educational environment. These resources will provide hands-on, engaging opportunities to promote cognitive development, fine motor coordination, communication, social interaction, and imaginative play—foundational areas critical for readiness in a 4K classroom.

The Flambeau Rolling Tool Chest will help transport materials between classrooms, ensuring all students can participate and grow.
