My Project

My teaching day includes much more than preparing and presenting lessons. I also listen, give advice, console, congratulate, and help my students as much as I can. I have wonderful students but their needs exceed my lesson plans on a regular basis.

We go through many needed items that are beyond what I am teaching.

Tissues are at the top of that list! Candy and snacks reward students for good behavior, and lesson comment, or fill a gap because of a forgotten breakfast or lunch. Sometimes it is just a way to say, "I appreciate you!".

Students can save learning time by limiting trips to the nurse for minor issues. Having cold packs ready to go will save time, and give relief for bug bites, itchy skin, and isolated pain. Besides, the cold packs that come from the nurse leak water all over our work and tabletops!
