My Project
I like interactive learning and try to use project-based assessments as much as possible. My students are busy in class cutting, creating, building, and gluing while they learn about ancient civilizations. Hands-on learning has been proven to help keep students involved in their learning while increasing retention.
The supplies ordered in this project will help create interactive notebooks to keep information organized. This allows them to refer to their notes all year when comparing and contrasting different cultures. Best of all, my students enjoy making them and keep them as keepsakes of the year.
