This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Bring out the creativity in my kindergarten class with some awesome books, crayons and pencils. These crayons will make their work come alive through color. They books will enrich their vocabulary. I know their thirst for color and words will explode.
My students are bright and creative kindergarteners who love to make their work look outrageous with color.
They are from an urban city school in Connecticut with twenty students in their class. They love to have nice things but are not given the opportunity in receiving enough supplies so that they can do their best work at all times. However, they do try their best with what we have and always share with their classmates who need to use their supplies.
My Project
My kindergarten classroom loves to read and write, and with these awesome crayons, books and reading materials their creativity will bloom. If given these crayons and books, my students will be able to make their work come alive and reading skills will improve. They will be able to use color in all they do. We use color in our writing, math and reading activities. They use color with art, science and all activities that we do in class. By having the crayons at their fingertips and the books in their own library, this can help them achieve their goals and make them feel proud of the work that they have completed. Donations of these crayons and books will make my students so excited and motivated to learn.
By having their own crayons and books that will interest them, they will feel important and want to take care of them so that they can do their best work at all times.
I know that if given these items my students will appreciate what they have and take pride in all that they produce in the classroom. Please help my students flourish with these gifts.
Thanks for your support.
