This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a great group of students. Nearly all of my students come from a low-income household and their families have not yet recovered from hurricane Harvey . It is very challenging for them to be successful because they don't have the resources they need. I trully beleive that it should not be an excuse to not fullfill their dreams.
They know how to take care of their own learning.
I have 15 amazing lives to take care off, they just make my life more fun and valuable. I just love them so much, I am looking forward for them to become great leaders and better human beings. They are the best!!!
My Project
In our claroom we do Center and Stations to differentiate among students. The tablets and the headphones will be used for the Technology and Listening Center, students will have access to leveled personalized library and useful reading apps that are going to help them gaining reading fluency by listening and reading books. The book binders will be use for the Library Center where each student will have their own leveled library with the right books for them. The speakers will be used for my computer so the whole group can listen when needed. Using differentiation in the classroom provides same opportunity for all students to learn in a way that fit them best.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
