This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kiddos live in a high poverty area. My school is a Title I school. Every day is a struggle for some, more than others. Giving them the opportunity to do hands-on center rotations lets our tactile learners excel. My incoming Littles are at different learning levels and need as much guidance as possible because they were not able to finish out the school year in class.
Please help my Littles get materials that will help them adjust and continue learning through face to face and online learning.
I want to give my students learning materials due to the COVID-19 pandemic. My students will have to transition from meeting online and working independently this school year to face to face learning.
My Project
My GT kiddos have research projects they must do on animals and their habitats.
Research can be difficult for my Littles but using an iPad can make a big, scary project about science into something fun.
An iPad would be a wonderful addition for my class because my students can use it for projects, vocabulary, and practicing math facts. This would be such a versatile piece of technology for my classroom. I think the fact that we can't share books anymore makes this an important Reading tool in the midst of the pandemic.
