This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As I prepare for my first year as a TK (Transitional Kindergarten) teacher, I’m filled with excitement to create a classroom where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired. Being a Little Person, I have a unique perspective on the importance of inclusion and understanding. I want to show my students that no matter their size, background, or challenges they face, they can achieve anything they set their minds to.

My experience will shape the way I connect with each student, offering them a role model who understands the value of perseverance and self-confidence.

I believe that every child deserves to feel valued and empowered, and I am committed to building a classroom that fosters those qualities.
