This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! The school we are at is a Title I-funded school in Arizona. We have a fantastic administration, wonderful teammates, and the best students! My students are very hard workers and also know how to have fun. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I love seeing their faces every morning.

My students have a desire to learn.

They always want to know more, learn more, do more, and read more of everything. Our classroom is our own little family.

My Project

I teach S.T.E.M. weekly to all grade levels. For the Kinder through second grade, they need a lot of hands on activities.

The hands on activities help the Kinders, 1st Graders and 2nd Graders with problem solving in STEM.

The Building Brick STEM Challenge Kit is for Pre K through second grade. This is perfect for hands on learning activities with those grade levels. Students will work in centers and this will be four of the centers. Students are able to get a card and create what it shows. This is helpful with the kinders who are still learning to read. They are able to look at, for example, the picture of the maze and know how to start creating it.
