My Project

My young learners are inquisitive and eager to learn! They are in kindergarten, first, and second grade. I am also teaching intensive reading intervention with older elementary students. The last several years of school have been challenging, but they have persevered and conquered many obstacles. I teach students with dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, emotional disabilities, and students who require intervention. Social -Emotional learning is essential to being ready to learn and take academic risks.

Little Spot has engaging social skills books, lessons, and activities to teach students to identify feelings and use positive strategies.

These books and activities are perfect for my young learners. We all feel sadness, frustration, and anger. My students need the tools to manage these frustrations, ask for help, and find their calm. I want to inspire my students to be happy and confident students.
