This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Some of the greatest teachers in our classroom are our students! Our preschool classroom allows for many opportunities for hands on learning and interacting with many different materials. By giving our students lessons in different contexts, we can afford them the freedom to contribute to their own learning space.
Our preschool students with disabilities experience learning through their own unique lenses and with their own individual strengths.
My goal for this project is to give our students opportunities to be independently creative, become effective problem solvers, and life long learners. By providing our students with STEM activity kits around math and engineering and a light table with manipulatives, we can encourage those very concepts right away.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
