Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their natural curiosity and excitement for learning. They ask questions, explore new ideas fearlessly, and thrive when given the chance to learn through hands-on experiences. Every day, they remind me how powerful learning can be when it’s active, meaningful, and fun.
The resources in this project will allow us to turn our classroom into a space full of discovery.
Measuring cups and an electric kettle will help us explore properties of materials and design our own glue. Seeds and plant pots will give students the chance to grow and observe living things, teaching them patience, responsibility, and the science of life cycles. Flashlights will allow us to investigate light and shadows, while kinetic sand will help us explore changing landforms. Glue will be used in our creative projects and experiments, helping students express themselves and connect learning across subjects.
Each item supports hands-on, inquiry-based learning that keeps my students engaged and inspired. These materials will make science and creativity come alive in our classroom, helping students grow as thinkers, problem solvers, and explorers.
