This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a high-poverty area where most students do not attend preschool. My classroom is often their first educational experience and I love to make it engaging and fun so they are always eager to come to school.

The Science of Reading has been an amazing shift in reading instruction!

Finally, we can teach reading in a way that feels right for kids.

I am requesting gift cards for Teachers Pay Teachers so I may purchase essential resources that are designed to help students navigate learning to read the SOR way.
