I love that my first graders come to school every day with curiosity, joy, and a growing sense of independence. They are at such an exciting stage, where they’re starting to move beyond decoding words and truly becoming readers. It’s a magical transformation to witness!
Many of my students are just beginning to explore chapter books, and they light up when they realize they can read “big kid” books on their own.
Having access to the right kinds of books, engaging, age-appropriate, and confidence-building, is key to helping them thrive.
Each of the chapter book series I’ve chosen is designed specifically for early readers. These books will help my students build reading stamina by tackling stories that stretch across chapters and strengthen comprehension through engaging plots and supportive illustrations.
With your support, these resources will give my students a classroom library they’re excited to explore, where every child can find a book they’re proud to read. Your generosity helps nurture their growth, imagination, and lifelong learning. Thank you for being part of their reading journey!
