This project is fully funded

I teach inclusive pre-kindergarten in a rural public school. The 15 students in my classroom are four years old and function between 18 months and 6 years of age. They come from varied backgrounds, many of which are very disadvantaged. I am submitting this proposal in hopes to enhance the block area of my classroom. This school year I watched my students build with wooden blocks. They built numerous awesome structures! Wooden blocks were the only resource available in this area. Through this proposal I hope to obtain numerous building supplies to further this construction in my classroom. With varied building supplies, I hope to enhance the structures built in my classroom. Students will be able to build with large grid blocks, multi-textured blocks, realistic tree blocks, colored water, sand, and bead filled blocks while sitting on a soft, colorful carpet. This varied building experience will challenge the critical thinking and problem solving skills of my students. Thank you for your support and dedication to our students.
