My Project

The books I have chosen will help me build my first classroom library into a culturally responsive outlet for my students. I want all my students to feel included, welcomed, and comfortable in my classroom environment, and the variety of books I have chosen will allow my students to feel important and seen.

My students are all unique.

I want the books in my classroom to express all the identities of the students in my classroom. This project will help me build the sense of community and self-identity in the classroom.
