My Project

Vocabulary is the basis of communication. Whether listening, speaking, or reading, the wider a student's vocabulary is the broader their experiences can be!

Learners of all ages and abilities need language!

Language opens the door to learning and success! Learning vocabulary through play with the lotto game combines fun with function while the file folder games promote independent language success.

The materials in this project will be used to engage Pre-K and early elementary students, as well as older students with special needs in dynamic lessons designed to expand their vocabulary across multiple core subject areas. Student goals involving identifying common vocabulary, labeling common vocabulary, rhyming words, and producing age-appropriate speech sounds can all be targeted.
