My students need 5 basic supplies like paper clips, tape, and staples.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Felder's classroom raised $175

My Students
I teach junior high science in a small rural district in southwest Mississippi. With the current budget cuts going on, my supply budget has fallen victim to the chopping block. We don't need a lot of things, but a little of this and a little of that would be most helpful.
My students come from mostly low-income households that unfortunately have school supplies low on the list of priorities.
But the learning process goes on. It is much easier for all of us if we have some basic office-type supplies on hand when needed; things such as paper clips, staples and tape.
My Project
I'm also asking for a hand-held presenter control with laser pointer. With this handy little device, students can make presentations to class while moving around the room. I won't be tied to my desk when showing slides. This neat little bit of technology will make my classes run more smoothly and give me the flexibility to move about the room more while teaching.
Sing with me now...."Don't it always seem to go, you don't know what you've got 'till it's gone..." This holds true when my class runs out of paper clips, tape, and staples.
Junior high kids have a hard enough time keeping things organized; being able to staple them together or tape them into a packet sure does help! Thank you in advance for your consideration of my request.
