My Students

My students represent the possibility of what the world could be. They have unique experiences of the world, yet create an atmosphere where all are valued and respected. I teach first graders in a public school. They are curious and excited about learning.

My Project

As education evolves, we must expose students to learning experiences that meet these expectations. My students need resources and books that will foster learning and creativity through play. Providing endless opportunities for students to explore will expand their problem solving and critical thinking skills

IF they are given the windows to see what is possible, THEN they will become mirrors in the STEM community.

I would like to create a STEM area in my room for students to explore as they arrive in the morning and for early finishers. I want to provide a collection of books and STEM resources that will inspire the diverse group of students represented in my classroom.
