My Project
I teach first graders who are very curious about the world and how it works. They love math and science and using the engineering design process to solve real world problems.
COVID-19 has not only impacted their academic levels, but also their social skills. Being secluded at home, away from their friends has created a deficit in their social-emotional development.
The requested materials, such as Magna-Tiles and flashcards, will allow my students to increase their collaboration and critical thinking skills while providing them with hands on tools during our S.T.E.A.M learning centers. My students and I thank you for your generous donations!
